On this site you will find interesting demovideos, which where recorded with the eye tracking system Dikablis.
You can download the videos and watch them on your computer.
This Demovideo shows how Dikablis D-LAB calculates automatically gaze durations on Areas of Interest (here: Head-Up-Display, Instrument Cluster, Central Information Display, Mirrors). The Areas of Interest change their color to red, when the gaze is inside them.
This Demovideo shows how the HeatMap works. The dynamic heatmap plot displays the gaze distribution for a running time slot of 2s.
This video shows the eye movements of a test persons on a handy display. The cross hair shows which icons the user is looking at.
This video shows the gaze bevaviour of a test person short bevor an accident. A car coming the left sid is not seen by the driver.
This video shows the timely recognizing of a pedestrian which runs over a crosswalk from the left side.
This video shows the interaction between a driver and the climatic controls in an outdoor experiment. In this experiment, the eye tracking data was transmitted wireless to the measuring vehicle which drives behind the experimental car. That allowed very short chaniging times between several experimental cars.
This video shows the interaction with climatic controls in a usability lab with a very simple driving task. The eye tracking data gathered with this method are highly comparable with data gathered in outdoor experiments.
